Flora, Flowers

"When all else fails, go out in the garden" - this is a text that has always been easy to live with, though sometime the gardening seems a lot of work! We are fortunate to have flowers through from early spring to late fall. In addition, there are always opportunities just wandering around the neighborhood, or visiting friends. Flowers are relatively easy to photograph, not only do not they not move, unless it is windy, but you can always try again the next day. What fascinates me is how we look at flowers, presenting them in context, but placing that context out of focus as it would be if you were really this close to the flower.
